Diesel Up After Interrupter Clause Invoked

The price of diesel took a big jump overnight after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause to change the price early, this week.

Diesel went up by 11.3 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.98.4 in Cape Breton.

Meanwhile, the price of gas didn’t change.

The minimum price for a litre of gas on the Island is still $1.56.7.
