Diesel Up 6.6 Cents After UARB Invokes Interrupter Clause

The price of diesel went up overnight after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause to change the price early this week.

Diesel increased by 6.6 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.68.5 in Cape Breton.

Only the price of diesel was adjusted last night over what the UARB calls a significant change in the price of diesel on world markets.

Gas still goes for a minimum of $1.58.4 a litre in Cape Breton.
