The province’s Utility and Review Board says it’s invoking its interrupter clause to change the price of Diesel overnight.
However, it says the price of gas will not be affected.
Diesel edged up by 2.5 cents a litre when prices at the pump were reset today.
A litre of Diesel is now selling for a minimum of $2.01 in Cape Breton.
Gas went up by by 5.5 cents a litre today and now goes for a minimum of $2.10 cents a litre on the island.
