Diesel Dips Below $2 A Litre After Interrupter Clause Invoked

The price of diesel has dipped below 2 dollars a litre after the Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause to adjust the price, overnight.

Diesel fell by 7.4 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.99.7 in Cape Breton.

The UARB says the change was necessary because of significant shifts in the market price of diesel.

The price of gas didn’t change.

A litre of gas still goes for a minimum of $1.41.8 on the Island.
