Diesel Changing Overnight, Gas Staying Put

The province’s Utility and Review Board is invoking its interrupter clause to change the price of Diesel overnight, but gas will not change.

The board says the change for Diesel is necessary because of a significant change in the market price for the fuel.

The minimum price for a litre of diesel in Cape Breton is now $2.04.9 cents.

A litre of gas now goes for a minimum of $1.67.1 on the island.
