Despite fire, the show must go on

A minor fire disrupted preparations for this week’s upcoming show at the Highland Arts Theatre last night.
Firefighters were called to the HAT after a set piece caught fire on the HAT’s stage during preparations for See Jane Run.
The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived, thanks to a quick thinking stage manager with a fire extinguisher.
Artistic director Wesley Colford says no one was hurt, and there was no damage to the building. He says the show will go ahead as planned.
See Jane run opens on Tuesday and runs until next Sunday, with all shows starting at 8 pm.
