by The Desmond Fatality Inquiry is resuming hearings at the courthouse in Port Hawkesbury today.
Inquiry officials say the proceedings are expected to continue until Friday, this week.
Afghanistan veteran Lionel Desmond suffered from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and killed his family and then himself in January of 2017.
The inquiry will draft recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths in future.
