Delayed Pension Cheques Being Delivered In CB

Canada Post says a number of Canada Pension Plan cheques are being delivered to recipients in Cape Breton today after shipping was delayed in recent days.

The Crown Corporation says there was a delay transporting and processing the cheques in Halifax.

There’s no word yet on the cause of the delay but it happened as Canada Post reports it’s dealing with high demand for parcel delivery during the holidays as more people shop online.
