A North Sydney woman will find out today if the Regional Municipality can go ahead with a demolition order on her house.
Slyvia Dolomont was in court yesterday to apply for a court order to stop the demolition.
The judge has reserved her decision in the case until today.
A demolition order was placed on the Campbell Street home in January after the CBRM labelled the bungalow a health, safety and fire hazard.
Dolomont is a self-confessed hoarder and municipal officials say the house was full of rotting garbage, animal waste and mould.
She’d been given a number of extensions on the demolition order to allow her to clean up the property.
But the municipality says not enough has been done.
