Deal Reached For Treasury Board Workers, Strike Continues For CRA Workers: PSAC

120,000 Treasury Board workers across the country will be returning to work today after the Public Service Alliance of Canada announced a tentative deal early this morning.

However, a strike continues for a 13th day for 35,000 PSAC members who work at the Canada Revenue Agency.

PSAC says the agreement for Treasury Board workers gives a 12.6% increase over four years, including retroactive pay going back to 2021.

The union had originally asked for 13.5% over three years, while the government offered 9% over the same period before making what it called its final offer on Friday.

PSAC says the agreement also provides new protections around remote work.
