Day 14 Campaign Highlights

In the provincial election campaign, NDP Leader Gary Burrill promised today to create mental health emergency response teams in all four regional health zones if he becomes Premier.

Progressive Conservative leader Tim Houston is promising to introduce diversity curriculums at every level of education.

Liberal leader Iain Rankin says he’d introduce a tax rebate to increase the supply of affordable housing if his party forms government again.  

Rankin also announced a number of other proposals today, including compensation for renters displaced by renovations and a pilot program providing healthy lunches in schools in the areas of most need.
