Cuzner Named Consul General In Boston

Former Cape Breton-Canso MP Rodger Cuzner will be Canada’s new Consul General in Boston.

The federal government made the announcement this morning.

The Boston consulate general serves Canadians in the northeastern United States and maintains relations with regional figures, including state governors and business leaders.

Cuzner served as MP for nearly 20 years before announcing he was not re-offering in last year’s election.

Cuzner will take over in his new role from former New Brunswick premier David Alward.
