Creative Catalyst Applications Open

Applications are now open for the Regional Municipality’s Creative Catalyst Program for local artists.

The municipality says it’s setting aside $50,000 this fiscal year for non-repayable awards of $500-$2500 for the creation and presentation of new works.

Projects are chosen by a jury of arts professionals based on artistic merit, quality of work, feasibility and the potential growth for the artist.

To apply, people have to be 16 or older and living in the municipality and they have to be creating and presenting new work within the municipality and be able to complete the project by February 28th of next year.

Applications will close on March 1st.

The Program Guide and link to apply are available online at cbrm.ns.ca/recreation.
