COVID-19 Restrictions In Place Again At New Brunswick Border

Border restrictions with New Brunswick came into effect again at 8:00 this morning with a rising number of COVID-19 cases in that province.

That means anyone coming into Nova Scotia from New Brunswick will need to follow the same requirements as people coming from outside Atlantic Canada.

People who’ve been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days before arriving in Nova Scotia do not have to isolate.

People who’ve had one dose of vaccine at least 14 days before arriving in the province will have to isolate for at least seven days.

People who aren’t vaccinated will have to isolate for 14 days.

The same measures will apply to Nova Scotians returning home from New Brunswick with the exception of workers and students who frequently cross the border.
