Council Votes To Study Renaming Indian Beach

Regional Council voted unanimously at last night’s meeting to ask staff to prepare an issue paper on the renaming of Indian Beach in North Sydney.

Northside councillor and Deputy Mayor Earlene MacMullin brought forward the motion.

MacMullin says her constituents approached her about the idea.

The issue paper will explore the steps and consultation requirements for renaming Indian Beach.
