Council Votes To Hand Over Centennial Arena To Non-Profit Group

Regional Council voted at this morning’s meeting to give a non-profit group the Centennial Arena for free.

Bill Kachafanas is the founder of Tomorrow’s Legends.

He says his group plans to turn the now vacant building into a multipurpose indoor sports, cultural and community centre.

Staff will prepare an issue paper on transferring the Centennial Arena to Tomorrow’s Legends.
