Council Budget Deliberations Resume, Today

Regional Council is scheduled to resume budget deliberations by videoconference at 9:30, this morning.

Council approved a capital budget of nearly 50.6 million dollars on Tuesday.

Yesterday’s deliberations were postponed until today because of the COVID-19 lockdown in the province.

Council will deal with the draft 2021-22 operating budget, today.

Staff is proposing an operating budget of nearly 157-million, 4-hundred thousand dollars with a transfer of 125-thousand dollars from the operating reserve.
