Council Approves Two New Positions In Mayor’s Office

Regional Council voted in favour of two new positions in the Mayor’s office at yesterday’s Council meeting.

A municipal indigenous advisor will work with Mi’kmaq communities in the municipality.

And a community consultation coordinator will work with citizens on municipally-led projects.

Mayor Amanda McDougall says Human Resources will oversee the process of filling the two positions and she will not be involved.
