Council Approves Four New Heritage Properties

Regional Council approved four new, municipal heritage properties at yesterday’s Council meeting.

The properties were due to be presented to Council for approval in March but that was put on hold because of COVID-19.

Getting the nod for heritage designation is the Dominion Italian Hall and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church on Trout Brook Road in Albert Bridge.

Council also voted to give Bernie’s Bakery in Whitney Pier and the Grand Narrows Waterfront heritage status.
