Correction To Membertou Sports And Wellness Centre Exposure Notification

Public Health has issued a correction to its COVID-19 Exposure Notification for the Membertou Sports and Wellness Centre.

It says the notification applies only to the Centre’s “Emera Arena” on Saturday between 11:30 in morning and 2:30 in the afternoon.

Anyone who’s not fully vaccinated who was at the Emera Arena at that date and times is required to isolate, even if they don’t have symptoms, and book a COVID test.

Public Health is recommending anyone who’s fully vaccinated who was at the Centre’s Emera Arena during that period should also get tested, but they don’t need to isolate unless they develop symptoms.

Anyone exposed to the virus at the Membertou Emera Arena at those times on Saturday could develop symptoms up to, and including, November 13th.
