Questions were raised today about a proposed witness at the public inquiry into the mass shooting in the province.
Some lawyers representing family members of people killed in the shooting say they have questions about a proposed expert witness who says RCMP officers who responded to the attacks are too traumatized to testify.
One of those lawyers is Joshua Bryson, who notes the proposed witness has not treated any of the officers involved.
Chief Commissioner Michael MacDonald says questions about the proposed expert’s qualifications have to be dealt with before the inquiry goes any further and the matter will be addressed when the inquiry resumes tomorrow.
