Community College Campus To Offer Childcare

The province says child care will be offered at the Community College’s new campus that’s under construction in Sydney.

The Department of Education says an agreement between the YMCA of Cape Breton and the community college will provide 50 child-care spaces, with priority given to students and employees at the new campus.

It says the province provided $350,000 toward the cost of landscaping the outdoor play space and interior fixtures, fittings and equipment.

The centre will be run by the YMCA.
