Comfort Centres Won’t Open Today

The Regional Municipality says the three comfort centres that were scheduled to open this morning were closed due to power restoration.

The Municipality initially said the fire halls in North Sydney and New Waterford as well as the Grand Lake Road Fire Hall would open at 10 if power was still out in those areas.

As of 10:00 this morning, roughly 75 customers are without power in the CBRM.
