Coast 89.7 Forced Off Air After Lines At Transmitter Deliberately Cut

The Coast 89.7’s FM broadcast was interrupted starting at around 4:00 yesterday afternoon after our studio transmitter and communications lines were deliberately cut at our transmitter site in Glace Bay.

The lines were repaired last night and the system was reprogrammed this morning, putting us back on the air.

Regional Police are investigating.
