Coal Dust Days Parade On, Again

New Waterford’s Coal Dust Days parade is on again.

Volunteer organizers had said they were cancelling this year’s parade because of a lack of interest.

But local councillor Lowell Cormier says he’s managed to convince the organizing committee to try to put on a parade this year,  after offering to help them with the effort.

A new parade committee has been set up and the parade is now scheduled to open Coal Dust Days festivities, on Sunday, July 13th.
