Coal Dust Days Cancelled

New Waterford’s Coal Dust Days have been cancelled for the second year in row because of COVID-19.

The New Waterford Festival Society says the uncertainty of the pandemic doesn’t allow it to plan events that capture the true spirit of Coal Dust Days.

The festival has now been postponed until 2022 and the committee plans to release dates for the festival this fall.

Its says the information will be available on its social media pages and website.
