Closing arguments are due to start today in the Calgary trial of a man accused of fatally stabbing a Glace Bay native.
Nicholas Rasberry is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Craig Kelloway in Rasberry’s home in May of 2013.
Rasberry chose not to testify in his own defence at his trial and the defence called only one witness, an expert on so-called flight or fight syndrome.
Rasberry has pleaded not guilty, admitting he did kill Kelloway, but saying it was self-defence after Kelloway threatened to sexually assault him.
The Crown concluded its case on Wednesday of last week with the defence wrapping things up on Thursday.
