Climate Change Protest In Sydney, Today

There’s going to be a climate change protest in Sydney, today.

The “March for the Earth” is organized by the Cape Breton branch of the environmental action network Extinction Rebellion.

The local branch says Canada is warming two to three times faster than other countries and it’s time to act.

The march is due to get underway at noon at Open Hearth Park.

The protestors are scheduled to arrive at City Hall on the Esplanade at 12:30 where a list of demands will be presented to Regional Council.
