Chisholm In Court To Set Trial Date

A Ben Eoin woman charged with being an accessory after the fact when her son was charged in a fatal shooting in Reserve Mines is due to have a trial date set, today.
46 year-old Jennifer Lynn Chisholm is accused of taking a black, leather biker’s vest from Brandon James Berthiaume with the knowledge he had committed a murder.
Last month, she waived her right to a preliminary hearing and chose to go directly to trial.
26 year-old Berthiaume is charged with first-degree murder in the June 2015 shooting death of 25 year-old Brandon Kelly.
Berthiaume also faces a charge of attempted murder for firing shots at a second person.
Chisholm continues her release on conditions that include having no contact with her son.
