Cheticamp Man Charged With Stunting on Cabot Trail

A 52 year-old Cheticamp man has been charged with stunting on the Cabot Trail in Middle River.

RCMP say he was clocked doing 73 km an hour over the posted speed limit of 80 km an hour at around 8:00 on Wednesday night.

They add he’s had his driver’s license suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was seized.

If convicted, he faces of fine of just over 24-hundred dollars.

Police say he’s also facing a 7 day licence suspension after providing a roadside breath sample.
