Charges Laid After Kenny’s Pizza Robbery

Regional Police say a 32-year-old man has been charged after a weekend robbery at the Kenny’s Pizza on Townsend Street in Sydney.

Wayne Joseph Piercey is facing charges of Robbery, Mischief and five Breaches.

Police say they were called to the store shortly after 8:00 Saturday night, when staff say a man jumped onto the counter and demanded money from the till.

The man then ran away but police say they arrested someone matching his description near Bentinck Street a few minutes later.
