Changes To Quarantine Requirements For Rotational Workers In Effect, Today

Changes to COVID-19 quarantine requirements for rotational workers come into effect today.

As of today, rotational workers will no longer have to quarantine if they have no symptoms and have been fully vaccinated at least two weeks before arriving in the province.

However, they’ll have to get tested three times over a two week period.

Workers will have to quarantine for 7 days if they’ve had just one dose at least two weeks before arriving.

However, there are stricter requirements for workers coming from an outbreak site and the rules are not changing for rotational workers who are not vaccinated.

Meanwhile, voluntary COVID-19 testing at the Halifax Stanfield Airport also starts today.
