The province is loosening restrictions for some travelers coming from New Brunswick.
Effective immediately, those travelers don’t have to quarantine in this province if they have two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
However, testing is recommended.
The change comes after a protest at the New Brunswick border over quarantine requirements.
Quarantine requirements will be dropped for everyone coming from New Brunswick starting on Wednesday of next week.
Also starting on that day, people from outside Atlantic Canada can come to the province without quarantining if they’ve had two doses for at least 14 days.
However, they’ll have to complete a safe check-in form and have proof of vaccination.
