The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce has appointed a new CEO.
Megan Penney has served as the chamber’s Member Relations Coordinator for the past year.
Penney holds a Master of Business Administration in Community Economic Development as well as Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Community Studies degrees from Cape Breton University.
The chamber’s CEO position was previously held by Jenna Lahey, who served for about two years before resigning in February and going on to take a job with the provincial government.
