Details on the 29th Celtic Colours International Festival have been released.
This year’s festival is scheduled to run from October 10th to 18th with 50 concerts in 36 communities around Cape Breton.
The full schedule and line-up of performers will be announced during the last week of June with tickets going on sale on July 8th.
This year’s festival comes after controversy over how the festival was run led to a new six-person transition board of directors being put in place in December.
Festival co-founder Joella Foulds is serving as Acting Artistic Director for this year’s event.
