CBU Faculty Holding Strike Vote

Faculty at Cape Breton University is holding a strike vote, starting today.

The Faculty Association says the vote will continue until Friday.

It says bargaining with the university has stalled, with disagreements on wages, workload and research support.

The union represents professors, librarians and lab instructors, as well as archivists, nursing instructors and research chairs.
