CBU, DAL Partnering On Med School

Cape Breton will be getting a medical school as part of a collaboration with Dalhousie University in Halifax.

During today’s annual State of the Province address in Sydney, Premier Tim Houston announced there will be a medical school on the island no later than the fall of 2025.

Cape Breton University later announced it’s collaborating with DAL on the development of a joint medical campus for Cape Breton.

It says the strategic partnership will make sure more Nova Scotians have the opportunity to get an excellent medical education in their home province.
