CBRM says wait until next weekend to put out heavy garbage

The regional municipality is reminding people not to put their heavy garbage curbside until next weekend.
Anyone wanting their large, heavy or bulky household items picked up should have them by the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28.
Items including sofas, mattresses, carpeting, windows and doors will be collected.
Large appliances including refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers will also be picked up, up to a maximum of five appliances per household.
A full list of items is available online at the municipality’s website.
