CBRM Giving Out Free Smoke Alarms

The CBRM is giving people a chance to get free smoke alarms through a new Smoke Alarm Installation Program.

People can ask for free smoke alarms by filling out a short online form.

Members of the local fire department will then visit people’s homes to install the alarms and provide education on smoke alarms as well as fire safety.

The smoke alarms will be given out based on need and in the order requests are received with an October 31st deadline to apply or while supplies last.

People can get more information by visiting the CBRM website.
