Stats Canada says Cape Breton’s unemployment rate was 8.7 percent in November.
That’s up from 8.5 percent in October but down from 12.7 percent in November of last year.
The national unemployment rate rose to 6.8 percent in November from 6.5 percent the month before.
Nova Scotia’s jobless rate in last month was 5.8 percent.
That’s down from 6.3 percent in October.
