A Cape Breton road has been voted as the worst in Atlantic Canada.
The Gillis Point Road in Victoria County garnered the most votes in the Canadian Automobile Association’s recent web poll.
Marble Mountain Road in Inverness County was number eight on the top ten list.
Gary Howard with CAA Atlantic says the poll is a useful tool to spark engagement between people who use roads and the governments who build and maintain them.
He adds nearly 53-hundred people voted in their fourth annual web poll and the number is growing yearly.
Four of the worst roads in this year’s poll are in Nova Scotia.
Three are in New Brunswick, two are in Newfoundland and Labrador and one is in Prince Edward Island.
