by RCMP say a 53 year-old man from the Regional Municipality is one of two people who died in a head-on crash in Guysborough County last night.
A 64 year-old Guysborough County woman also died in the accident that happened on a stretch of highway in the community of Manchester.
Police say another driver told them about the crash at around 7:30 last night.
The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene and police say there were no passengers in either vehicle.
Police say their investigation continues.
