CB Gets Travel+Leisure Nod For Fourth Straight Year

Cape Breton has been ranked the #1 Island in Canada in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards for the fourth year in a row.

The travel website’s readers were surveyed to put together the ranking that places Vancouver Island in the number 2 spot and ranks Prince Edward Island third.

Readers rated islands according to their activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value.

The readers singled out the Cabot Trail, world class golfing and countless spots for seafood lovers.

One visitor wrote: “Friendly, friendly people and great sightseeing.”
