CB Family Launches Website On Health System Challenges

A Cape Breton family has launched a website where people can share their stories about problems they’ve faced in the Nova Scotia healthcare system.

Katherine Snow says she was inspired to create the site after going on social media to share the story of the loss of her mother-in-law, Charlene Snow.

Snow says her mother-in-law went to the Regional Hospital in Sydney on December 30th with jaw pain and flu like symptoms.

She says the elder Snow waited more than 7 hours before finally giving up and later died less than an hour after she arrived home.

The website can be found at nshealthcarecrisis.ca.
