The provincial Health Authority says services at the
New Waterford Consolidated Hospital will be affected by electrical repairs
tomorrow and Saturday.
There will be no walk-in blood collection at the
hospital tomorrow, and those needing the service are being told to go to the
Regional or the Glace Bay Hospital.
Walk in X-ray service in New Waterford will be
closed at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.
The ER will be open tomorrow but closed on Saturday.
Elevators will not be working during planned power
shutdowns tomorrow between 7 and 7:30 in the morning and 3 and 3:30 in the
afternoon.
There will also be planned power outages on Saturday
between 8 and 8:30 in the morning, and 4 and 4:30 in the afternoon.
The health authority says regular inpatient services
and visiting hours will continue on both days.
