The province is reporting a case of COVID-19 connected to a Halifax area school.

It says the person at Beaver Bank-Monarch Drive Elementary has not been in school since February 12th and is self-isolating.

Health officials say the school will stay closed to students until at least Tuesday while a deep cleaning takes place.
