Cape Bretoners Urged To Vote In Kraft Hockeyville Contest

Voting in the Kraft Hockeyville contest starts at 10:00 this morning with a project to make the Canada Games Complex into a home for female hockey in the running.

The Cape Breton Blizzard Hockey Association and Cape Breton Capers are among four finalists vying for $250,000 in arena upgrades and the right to host an NHL pre-season game.

Voting at krafthockeyville.ca continues until 6:00 tomorrow evening and there’s no limit on the amount of times people can vote.

Mayor Amanda McDougall has declared today Kraft Hockeyville Day in the Regional Municipality.

People are encouraged to wear a hockey jersey to school or their workplace.
