CBU Student Among Eight New Reported COVID Cases

A student at Cape Breton University is one of eight new cases of COVID-19 being reported in the province today.

Another case involves a student at St. FX in Antigonish.

Both cases are related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

Three other new cases are in the Central Zone and are also related to travel outside the region.

One of those cases involves a student at St. Mary’s University in Halifax.

The other three cases are in the Northern Zone and are close contacts of earlier reported cases.

There’s now a total of 30 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

No one in the province is currently in hospital with the virus.
