Cape Breton Road Tops Worst Roads Survey

A Cape Breton road has moved into the number one spot in an online contest to name the worst highways and byways in Atlantic Canada.

Gillis Point Road in Victoria County bumped up from second place in the Canadian Automobile Association’s 6th annual poll.

Meanwhile, two other Cape Breton roads also remain in the top ten.

Marble Mountain Road is holding its fifth place position while Mabou Mines Road dropped from 9th to 10th spot.

People have until Friday to vote in the contest by going to caaworstroads.com.
