Cape Breton Eagles Players Involved In Car Crash

The Cape Breton Eagles say three of their players were involved in a multi-vehicle car crash on the Trans Canada yesterday on their way to Cape Breton.

The team says the three were taken to St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish.

It says Angello Fullerton and Lucas Romeo were released from hospital last night and are now resting.

Brayden Schmidt was admitted to hospital overnight so his injuries could be monitored.

He’s expected to be released from hospital in the coming days.
